I love photography and eat good food. I have the biggest crush on my son and my husband and our new princess. My life revolve around them. I'm a part time domestic goddess and part time government slave. I used to extort people money through photography. That is the main reason why this blog exist. Sadly, time is my number one foe. He never let me multitask too much. But hey hey, cooking isn't that much time consuming. And i believed, a moms cook will make their kid love grow stronger in every munch. And yes ladies and gentlemen,I cook and I brag about it. So here goes. Here to a good picture and a good, easy, healthy home cooked dish! May you guys be inspired and COOK for the loved one! Recipe : Spagethi Olio with Sundried Tomato & Beef Strip

Assalamualaikum & Nite!

I'm feeling super generous of my non-existence time :) So here some recipe for you. Simple and tasty.

Ingredient :
Spagethi (3/4 of the usual packaging)
The more the merrier-Beef strip (I bought gourmesa you can find the brand in Jusco Aeon, Giant, Jaya Grocer or you can always slice thinly the batang pinang that you bought from pasar :)
Sundried tomato (handful)
Mushroom (handful -I bought white button mushroom and slice thinly)
Parsley flake- 1tsp
Salt & Peppa'
Olive Oil
Yellow Onion (diced)

As usual :
Boil the spagethi Ala dente. Put aside.
Heat  drizzle of olive oil, add the onion and beef strip. Kasik garing sket, throw in the sundried tomato and mushroom, spagethi. Properly season your spagethi and lastly.. enjoy your dish!.

Recipe : Beef Burger

Sselawat dan Salam buat junjungan mulia Nabi Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wasallam yang dengan nikmat utusan ALLAH melalui Baginda, dapat kita nikmati nikmat Iman dan Islam pada hari ini.


Hari maulud and we r on holiday :) Alhamdulillah. Seronok dapat duduk kat rumah dengan husband and anak. Syukur kan :) Anyway, yes. Im making beef burger for brekkie today. A simple recipe indeed. I was actually doing some alteration from Jamie's recipe on his homepage.

Senang je rupanya. Rasanye superb and we can actually alter it according to our own citarasa. Saat  teringinnya nak makan home made burger ni bila tengok cafe kat office pun ade buat this kind of burger. Phew~ dia punya patties punya la tebal dan gelap! Masa lalu tepi meja (I'm already having Tomyam Campur with Nasi Goreng Kg at that time) sikit lagi nak order. But then, kang org kata bela pulak.. hahaha ok tak. sebenarnya dah full sangat tu yg tak order tapi tanam azam! Azam nak masak sendiri jugak! *haaaaaa~ insert spotlight pose pndang atas*  I can do it!!! ekekeke

So here is the ingredients: 
(sukatan ni boleh buat dalam 5-6 keping burger tapi ikut juga tebal n besar yg tuan/puan nak buat ok)
• 8 keping Jacob's cream cracker or any other brand pun boleh.
• 1 sudu besar dried parsley/ fresh parsley pun  boleh/daun sup
• 1/2 sudu kecil ground mustard
• 1/2 kilo daging cincang
• 1 biji telur size besar
• Garam & 1 sudu besar lada hitam tumbuk
• Olive oil
 
Caranya:
Biskut cream cracker tadi ramas² kasi jadi serbuk
Masukkan semua bahan kat atas, gaul sampai rasi. Bubuh la garam n lada hitam secukup rasa
Buat bentuk bulat ikut saiz bun anda la.
Then lepas bentuk, drizzle some olive oil, perap dlm fridge semalaman or 2-3 jam pn ok sebelum menggoreng

Tips: goreng daging boleh guna minyak but paling baik guna la pan yang tak melekat minyak nye. Memang tak mual burger. sehat pun sehat. sedap pun sedap sebab kita yg kontrol semua perisa yang nak masuk tu ok. Mcm biasa, jgn kedekut, kalau nk lebihkan sukatan² rempah kat atas pun bole. Lagi lebih lada hitam lagi bes. tpi hati² naty budak tak boleh makan lak :)

p/s : bila kita cakap burger, actually we are referring to the round shaped meat itself. Some call it patties :)

Resipi : My Version of Vietnamese Beef Noodles

Salam Pagi Khamis yang indah! (sebab saya cuti, semuanya harus indah...haha)

Kelmarin, was going through my picasa food album dengan Gja. Office fren (gitu Gja, aku featured nama kau dlm blog ok :p) hahaha Pastu stop kat gambar ni (beef noodles). Masa tu nama dia pun aku lupa sebenarnya hahahaha.. Tapi lepas tengok balik kat album, baru recalled semula nama yang diberi oleh yours truly haha. My Version of Vietnamese Beef Noodles (Tips: kalau kita altered cooking form otrs recipes atau rasa cam salah je recipe tu..always! always put 'My Version') yahahaha..kool kan aku. hahahaha

Okay, sebenarnya ni adalah 1st time trial n error :) And, I need to add more beef or cook the soup using pressure cooker. Apart from it, to suit ur Malaysian taste u can always throw a fried garlic flakes, or fresh chilies to the soup. But for my palate, this is enough already . The soup is superb with a lot of taste. Ginger, shallot, celery, broth, fish sauce, tamarind. Delicious even without chilies. Maybe to add more color to the food presentation u guys can throw in a red chilies garnish.

And haritu, oli ada minta juga resipi untuk kids. This can be one of it lah. Cuma yang ni nak cakap renyah tak jugak la, tpi preparation time tak sepantas resipi² saya yang lain :)

Bahan
Halia
Bawang kecil merah -bwg india
Batang celery
Bunjut
Sos Ikan
Asam Jawa
Daging (dihiris halus)
Cendawan (besar/kecil/medium)
Mee (any type)
Utk Garnish - Daun bawang+sup

How?
Senang je. Rebus Daging+Halia+Bwg Kecil+Celeryy+Bunjut- Rebus 1-2 hours lah. Sambil rebus tu, nanti keluar la buih² yang nampak kotor tu kan. Sila buang buih² itu. Jangan dikacau pulak. haha
Rebus sampai empuk and tengok sampai dah mesra, you just tapis, and ambil air. Daging nye pun boleh guna lagi. Tapi bahan lain dah boleh dispose. Alaa abis manis sepah dibuang gitu.
Then air tu re-boil semula, masukkan sikit asam jawa, sos ikan. Rasa, season semula kalau tak cukup.
Tapi no tumis okay.
So boiled kan semua tu and selalu rasa-rasa lah, kalau rasa tak ckup halia, then add in some ginger. Tapi nanti, semua bahan² ni akan dikeluarkan. Sebab kita nak clear soup. No bahan² what soever.
Lepas tu celur mee, n masuk lah dlm tu. Garnish dgn cendawan yang dah dicelur dengan soup and daun bawang n sup. Jadi lah!
Cuma kalau nak tmbh lg rasa, bwg putih goreng asing n garing² and tabur sebelum makan :)
Sos kicap pun boleh buat and cicah dengan daging, sebelum slurppppppp mee n soups!
