I love photography and eat good food. I have the biggest crush on my son and my husband and our new princess. My life revolve around them. I'm a part time domestic goddess and part time government slave. I used to extort people money through photography. That is the main reason why this blog exist. Sadly, time is my number one foe. He never let me multitask too much. But hey hey, cooking isn't that much time consuming. And i believed, a moms cook will make their kid love grow stronger in every munch. Resipi : Macaroni and Cheese


Salam :)

Hehe, resipi!! This time Im going to share the easiest recipe of Mac & Cheese. This one is Ghazi comfort food. He love mac n cheese to bit. Used to make him everyday for school! Dont ask him what he want for bekal. You'll know what he will answer haha. And I shud always have a stock of milk, cheddar, butter and macs in the fridge.

So, I got this recipe from Simply Recipes. Very handy websites. So u will always have to alter the recipe according to what available in the Malaysian market or in your kitchen. And here's my version of the simple Mac & Cheese.

Ingredients:
Macaroni - Rebus as usual, kalau instruction said 8minutes, make it 6 minutes.
Fresh Milk - separuh botol /1 cawan
Tepung Gandum - 2 sudu besar
Cheddar cheese - grated 2 cawan penuh
1 sudu besar tepung jagung
1/2 sudu kecil perahan lemon
optional : potong sosej/ham kecik² or secubit black pepper

Cara-caranya
Dalam mangkuk berasingan, gaulkan tepung jagung dgn grated cheddar cheese. Pastikan cheese dah disaluti and asingkan dulu.

Siapkan dulu sos dia, cairkan butter dlm saucepan, api medium heat. Masukkan susu+tepung gandum yg dah dicampur diluar tadi then masukkan susu jugak. Kacau, jgn kasi berketul, bila sos dah lancar dan kelihatan bersedia (kalau perlu tanya dia :P) hahaha then masukkan perahan lemon tadi. 

Last baru masukkan macaroni and kalau nak masuk ham pn boleh. Kacau smpi dah rasa ok n boleh angkat ye.

Then served cepat²! makan n sendawa ckp Alhamdulillah ok :) hehe

Recipe : Beef Burger

Sselawat dan Salam buat junjungan mulia Nabi Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wasallam yang dengan nikmat utusan ALLAH melalui Baginda, dapat kita nikmati nikmat Iman dan Islam pada hari ini.


Hari maulud and we r on holiday :) Alhamdulillah. Seronok dapat duduk kat rumah dengan husband and anak. Syukur kan :) Anyway, yes. Im making beef burger for brekkie today. A simple recipe indeed. I was actually doing some alteration from Jamie's recipe on his homepage.

Senang je rupanya. Rasanye superb and we can actually alter it according to our own citarasa. Saat  teringinnya nak makan home made burger ni bila tengok cafe kat office pun ade buat this kind of burger. Phew~ dia punya patties punya la tebal dan gelap! Masa lalu tepi meja (I'm already having Tomyam Campur with Nasi Goreng Kg at that time) sikit lagi nak order. But then, kang org kata bela pulak.. hahaha ok tak. sebenarnya dah full sangat tu yg tak order tapi tanam azam! Azam nak masak sendiri jugak! *haaaaaa~ insert spotlight pose pndang atas*  I can do it!!! ekekeke

So here is the ingredients: 
(sukatan ni boleh buat dalam 5-6 keping burger tapi ikut juga tebal n besar yg tuan/puan nak buat ok)
• 8 keping Jacob's cream cracker or any other brand pun boleh.
• 1 sudu besar dried parsley/ fresh parsley pun  boleh/daun sup
• 1/2 sudu kecil ground mustard
• 1/2 kilo daging cincang
• 1 biji telur size besar
• Garam & 1 sudu besar lada hitam tumbuk
• Olive oil
 
Caranya:
Biskut cream cracker tadi ramas² kasi jadi serbuk
Masukkan semua bahan kat atas, gaul sampai rasi. Bubuh la garam n lada hitam secukup rasa
Buat bentuk bulat ikut saiz bun anda la.
Then lepas bentuk, drizzle some olive oil, perap dlm fridge semalaman or 2-3 jam pn ok sebelum menggoreng

Tips: goreng daging boleh guna minyak but paling baik guna la pan yang tak melekat minyak nye. Memang tak mual burger. sehat pun sehat. sedap pun sedap sebab kita yg kontrol semua perisa yang nak masuk tu ok. Mcm biasa, jgn kedekut, kalau nk lebihkan sukatan² rempah kat atas pun bole. Lagi lebih lada hitam lagi bes. tpi hati² naty budak tak boleh makan lak :)

p/s : bila kita cakap burger, actually we are referring to the round shaped meat itself. Some call it patties :)

Food Review : Red Card Cafe, Bangi

Wow, long time no update. Been to busy at office. No time for home mean no time for blog also :) No time for blog mean more time eat out hehe. Yes, actually..who don't love eating out. No hassle, keep your kitchen sparkly clean, and you have somebody (for the home chef) to cook for you! kan kan kan :)

So, it's always crucial for me and husband to have our own set of restaurant that we will go if we have to eat out. One of it is Red Card Cafe in Bangi.  Yes darling, they provide good pasta's according to my Malay palate. That is so important. If you are a die hard hardcore true original Italian Cuisine, this cafe might not run well with your taste bud. For me personally, it have been alter (which was good) for our Malaysian taste. So there u go, my disclaimer for the day :)

We have been a loyal customer for about 2 years now. Or is it 3? The cafe was actually a tasty-accidentally found by us. We used to try out Cat Farish Cafe just behind the block. And we did found this little red cafe that have the beautiful and homely interior (back there in 2009) and just went in. And yup, we have been coming there since that. 

They have a good range of AFFORDABLE pasta's, mouth watering appetizers and Red Card also have a range of Asian Cuisine. Have i mentioned the cheap to average prices? yes, you can have a plate of pasta's as low as RM8 :) oyeah. no kidding baybeh.Cheapo!

So what we have had recently here?
I have my sundried tomato & beef pasta's ..nyummm just think about it make me drool! It have the tangy and sweet with a twist of kaffir leaves taste. AND, it cost me only RM 10.90. Tastttty! do try .Husband had his Seafood Oglio at RM 9.90. Cheap kan? ok, that just make me wanna cook some oglio tonite haha. And my little happy man had his kids meal  of Nugget, Sunny side up egg, fries, hotdog at only RM 7.90.

And yes, I have had their bruschetta, (a delish!!) , fried rice, steak, soup. Sedap sesuai dengan price tag nya :)

So go try out red cafe ok :)
